Projects: Past, Present, and Future
Minerva Club Projects
The Minerva Free Library is over 100 years old! It obviously requires a great deal of maintenance. The Minerva Club raises money for repairs and renovation of the library. Besides fixing the occasional, smaller maintenance problems, the club has made several large improvements to the library over the years. The club has funded the renovation of the original chandeliers in the library. Additionally, the Minerva Club assisted with funding new carpet.

| One of the largest projects spearheaded by the club was raising enough money to put a new roof on the aged library. Club members worked very hard. They put up fliers all over town and even went door to door to collect donations. The fund raising campaign was a fabulous success! The club ended up raising $14,000, and the library got its new roof. Way to go Minerva Club! |

In the future, the Minerva Club would like to make an addition to the library. The new addition would be used for a children’s library. Presently, the children’s section has been assigned to a tiny corner. The new addition would certainly add welcome room to the children’s library.
The Minerva Club is always looking for any donations or assistance with reaching their goals! |
